Game Changers Spotlight: Leadership, Teambuilding & Culture

As a six-time WNBA All-Star, WNBA Head Coach, WNBA title winner and Coach of the Year honors in her debut season, Becky Hammon understands a thing or two about effective teambuilding, establishing credibility, building organizational culture and blazing a new trail. She’s presenting an impactful Game Changers session at the NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS) in Vegas.

Using her journey from underdog to NBA game changer, in her session, Hammon offers insights and valuable leadership lessons. The session takes place on Tuesday, Jan 31, from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM. Game Changers sessions are open to all attendees with Expo+Education Passes or Expo+1-Day Education Passes valid for the day of the session.

About Becky Hammon

A six-time WNBA All-Star, Becky Hammon retired from the San Antonio Stars at age 37 and made an historic leap across town to the Spurs, becoming the first paid, full-time female assistant coach in NBA history. On December 31, 2021, Becky was named the Head Coach of the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces and in September of 2022, Becky and the Aces won their first ever WNBA Championship.

In 2014, Becky was hired by the Spurs as an assistant coach, and after 8 seasons, made the jump to WNBA Head Coach, winning the WNBA title and Coach of the Year honors in her debut season.
