Construction Pro Stephanie Dailey Shares Why IBS Had Her Jumping for Joy

NAHB/IBS Recharge & Reconnect

Meet Stephanie Dailey.

Construction pro. Trailblazer. Small business owner. Custom home builder.

An all-around construction professional. She can run what’s going on behind the scenes in the business, then throw on a tool belt to help install finish carpentry.

If it sounds a little superhero-ish, it’s because Stephanie may just be one for the residential construction industry.

We teamed up with Stephanie from StephanieBuildsIt and Steven Dailey Constructionto share her experience at the 2022 NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS).®  Maybe you followed her updates on Instagram, LinkedIn or Facebook during the show.

No worries if you didn’t because we caught up with Stephanie to find out what she thought about #IBS2022.

Her 7th year attending the show, Stephanie had a lot to tell us.

“Particularly because the homes I build are custom homes, a lot of the stuff people are coming to me for is new innovative stuff that they’ve seen online. IBS for me is a key player in how I learn about all that new stuff. That for me is probably my favorite part of the Builders’ Show is to be able to gain knowledge from people who actually work and run these companies,” shares Stephanie.

Stephanie is passionate about the construction industry, is heavily involved in the Home Builders’ Association in her area and Professional Women in Building.

“Another big piece of the Builders’ Show for me is networking. I meet a lot of builders from across the country, even other people who specialize in specific trades. Being able to network with other people is a huge benefit to our business. I learn so much from other people and then having them as a resource too. I know I have other people I can call. It’s just a place where you’re going to have that networking opportunity that you really can’t get anywhere else.”

She is currently 2nd Vice President of the Utah Valley HBA and set to be the first female president in UVHBA History.

“People need to recognize the National Association of Home Builders’ does so much for us and they are what keeps us in business.”

Beyond fighting for NAHB members on Capitol Hill, in state houses and in communities where members do business, NAHB hosts the International Builders’ Show each year.

If that’s not enough, listen to Stephanie. It’s a show you simply can’t miss as a residential construction professional.
