Take a pre-show course on a specific industry topic while increasing your skill set. These one- and two-day courses give you the chance to become completely immersed in a specific topic, and nowhere else during the year will you find all of these courses available in one place, at one time.

Universal Design/Build presents a shift in the approach to residential design and construction. Comfort and convenience regardless of age, stature or ability is the hallmark of inclusive design, and designers, suppliers, builders, remodelers, and social and health service providers all will benefit from taking this course. The course will help you identify and implement solutions for simple and complex scenarios that address various household compositions, budgets and changing needs of clients.

Universal Design/Build is a two-day course that counts as 12 CE hours for certain NAHB designations, and the American Institute of Architects (AIA) has also approved this course to qualify for 12 HSW/LU hours.

Registration for this pre-show course, along with others, opens August 1.
