Beth Byrd is the Director of Sales & Marketing for Beacon Homes. She oversees the sales, marketing and design teams in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. With 25 years of experience in design and construction industry positions in California and Oklahoma, Beth brings front-line experience to each team she manages.

What are you most looking forward to at IBS?
Seeing everyone! I learn so much just from chatting with everyone else there. It’s like a giant reunion!
What advice would you give someone attending the Builders’ Show for the first time?
Wear comfortable shoes! Determine how much time you really need or want to spend on the expo floor. You can spend a LOT of time just walking from one vendor to another. So, make sure you have mapped out the sessions you want to attend and the vendors you really want to see so you don’t miss anything important to you.
Where is the best place to be at IBS? Why?
Centrals! That’s the best place to meet people, sit down and rest for a few minutes or catch a more intimate session.
What is the most interesting 2024 industry trend?
AI – How will it affect our industry? What are applications for home builders of all sizes?
The industry has changed so much in the last five years. What changes do you think we’ll see in the next five years?
Continued expansion of technology, new ways to target customers and increased focus on affordable options that are still design savvy.
What do you think is the biggest challenge in the industry right now?
Affordability.
