The fourth phase of The New American Home^® 2024 (TNAH), the Official Show Home of the NAHB International Builders’ Show^® (IBS) is complete! Located in the foothills of the Ascaya subdivision of Henderson, NV, the award-winning and experienced design-build firm Sun West Custom Homes is the designer and builder of the home.

Phase 4: It’s All About the Product

Phase 4 was all about getting products like foam, insulation foil and aerial barrier – oh my! Everything is going great and the builder expects to complete the project at least two months earlier than expected.

“Currently we’ve passed all our MEP inspections. We’ve passed insulation inspections. Now we’re installing HY-fi^® foil product.” shares Mark Schlachter, Superintendent of Sun West Custom Homes.

Next up is installing the sheet rock, so the builder is currently on schedule to complete the home. The house will be ready for the Builder’s Show in February.
