The NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS) is our industry’s biggest event. The show explores what’s new and next, and as part of that progress, attendees are at the forefront of new ideas, products and technology; emerging issues and key advancements in the industry.
We know that finding the time and funding for professional development opportunities can be a big challenge, that’s why NAHB created the IBS Scholarship Program. Over the past 4 years, through the scholarship program, 70 recipients have had the opportunity to connect with industry peers and leaders, access cutting-edge information and participate in hands-on product demos.
Tens of thousands of building industry pros including designers, builders, remodelers and architects convene annually at the Builders’ Show, and this is your opportunity to join them in Las Vegas! IBS 2020 scholarship recipients will receive airfare, hotel accommodations and a full registration, giving them complete access to truly focus on the experience – the sessions, products and people that are key to career growth and business success.
Qualifications:
- Applicants or their company must be an NAHB member in good standing
- Applicants must be between the ages of 21-35

“You really can’t understand the impact of IBS until you experience it. So many new products, materials and business practices! It’s so exciting once you get home to be able to say I saw this person, or I got inspired by this display. And, everything you learn will help you with your clients, your projects and your business.”
– Cassidy Jones, 2019 scholarship recipient
“The best thing I got out of IBS was being around people who’ve been doing this a long time. They willingly shared their own pit falls, valuable pointers and signposts to look for to know whether or not I’m headed in the right direction as I launch and build my business.”
– Matthew Lane, 2019 scholarship recipient
