Evolving Your Sales Strategy for the Digital Age
Wednesday, January 11 | 3:30 – 4:30 PM
The speaker of this Thought Leader Session, Erin
Gargan, knows a thing or two about social selling. She’s worked with over
100 brands, including The Oscars, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, ABC/Disney
Television and VISA, and has been featured in Forbes and BusinessWeek. As
you can imagine, one of her favorite challenges is marketing in today’s
ever-changing digital landscape.
Google, Yelp, mobile technologies and major social media
networks have rendered traditional marketing and sales strategies less
effective than ever. The idea of moving prospects down a “funnel” is becoming
more and more obsolete, while the idea of meeting your buyer on their journey
is rapidly gaining traction. In this fascinating session, Erin will show you
how to evolve your sales and marketing approach in today’s overcrowded digital
marketplace using social media marketing.
From CNN to
Construction: Leadership Lessons from an Unexpected Journey in Home Building
Thursday, January 12 | 8:30 – 9:30 AM
This Thought Leader Session follows the personal journey
of one female leader’s unique path in home building, starting as a journalism
student and, eventually, producer at CNN London, then climbing the ranks to
Division President in one of the most constrained housing markets in the
country, to now putting her knowledge and skills to work for a family
construction business—all before the age of 37. Our speaker, Pierrette Tierney,
MA of Magleby Construction, will share the lessons she learned along the way,
including how to build a diverse workplace by looking for talent in unexpected
places, how to support and develop young industry leaders, and how to create
balance and fulfillment at work regardless of if you are at a large public or a
small private company.

offers value and builds a loyal customer base.
