Learn, connect and discover what’s new and what’s next with your fellow residential construction professionals at the NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS). The entire industry comes together at the Builders’ Show.
IBS 2027 brings a fresh lineup of education experiences, new show floor experiences and plenty of reasons to make the trip to Las Vegas. From the AI & Tech Studio making its Las Vegas debut to a new IBS Education format: Spotlight Sessions, here’s what’s new and why the Builders’ Show deserves a spot on your calendar.
IBS is Back in Las Vegas. For Good.
The Builders’ Show is returning to Las Vegas for IBS 2027.
That means all the energy, innovation and connections you expect from the Builders’ Show are back in a city built for big events, big ideas and plenty to do after the show floor closes.
And the Las Vegas Convention Center gives IBS a home designed for a show of its size and scale, with expanded space, easy access to the Las Vegas Strip and convenient transportation options for getting around.
New Education. New Voices. New Perspectives.
One of the best reasons to return to IBS year after year? The education keeps changing.
IBS 2027 brings new education content, new speakers and new perspectives to help you tackle the challenges and opportunities facing residential construction today.
Whether you’re looking for practical strategies to improve your business, insights into the forces shaping the housing market or fresh ideas you haven’t considered before, IBS Education* is designed to give you something new to take home.
Hear from industry leaders, innovators, business experts, economists, technology experts and high-profile voices from outside residential construction. Their different experiences and perspectives create conversations that challenge conventional thinking, uncover new opportunities and help you see familiar issues differently.
A New Way to Learn Tech: The AI & Tech Studio Comes to Vegas
The AI & Tech Studio debuted at IBS 2026, and now it’s heading west for the first time as IBS returns to its permanent home, Las Vegas.
Designed specifically for residential construction professionals, the AI & Tech Studio goes beyond AI hype and tech buzzwords to focus on practical applications you can put to work in your business.
Explore real-world uses for AI in business operations, design, sales and project management, along with technology such as CRMs, estimating software, BIM and 3D modeling, virtual tours and more.
This format is built around discovering, doing, comparing and testing. Expect live demos, builder-led case studies and interactive presentations that show technology in action, so you can find smarter ways to build your tech stack, streamline operations and improve your business.
Spotlight Sessions: A New Era for Big-Picture Education
IBS 2027 is saying goodbye to Super Sessions and welcoming Spotlight Sessions, a new education experience designed to take a deeper look at the issues shaping residential construction.
Spotlight Sessions bring together influential leaders, industry experts and top voices in residential construction around the issues that matter most to your business.
Each day focuses on a critical industry theme, giving you multiple perspectives, practical insights and a deeper exploration of the challenges and opportunities facing residential construction.
From navigating an uncertain market and winning today’s customers to harnessing AI without losing the human touch, Spotlight Sessions connect industry trends to business strategy and real-world action.
Spotlight Sessions build on the energy of Game Changers, which pair a high-profile voice from business, sports or culture with a C-suite home building executive for a cross-industry conversation tackling critical industry issues.
Spotlight Sessions take these big ideas further, diving deeper with top voices in home building and creating a full day of insights designed to help you think bigger, make smarter decisions and stay ahead of what’s next.
Vegas Loop: New Stops to Get You to & from the Builders’ Show
IBS 2027 marks the next chapter of the Builders’ Show in Las Vegas, and getting to, from and around the show is easier than ever.
The Vegas Loop provides free transportation across the 200-acre LVCC campus, with five stations connecting key areas of the convention center. The system can turn a 25-minute walk into a less-than-two-minute ride. Stations also connect attendees with nearby properties including Resorts World.
Since the last time the Builders’ Show was in Vegas in 2025, the Vegas Loop added key hotel and airport extensions, expanding operational destination stops to include Westgate, Encore at Wynn Resorts, Fontainebleau and initial surface-street/hybrid service connections to Harry Reid International Airport.
Translation: fewer steps, more time to discover the hottest new products, learn and make connections.
