Every remarkable home begins with a strong foundation, but getting there wasn’t easy.
Excavating the home site proved to be one of the project’s earliest obstacles. Built into the mountainside, the site consists largely of solid bedrock, requiring additional coordination and expertise before construction could proceed.
Challenges like these are common with custom luxury homes. Fortunately, with the right team in place, they become opportunities to demonstrate the problem-solving and craftsmanship that define exceptional residential construction.
Today, construction is progressing on schedule as crews transition into the rough-in phase.
Behind the Walls: The Rough-In Phase Begins
With the home structure taking shape, attention has shifted to installing the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems (MEPs) that will bring the home to life.

Advanced Fire & Gas Systems Improve Safety and Efficiency
Luxury living also depends on reliable infrastructure.
The home features multiple indoor and outdoor fire elements, including fireplaces, fire pits, gas appliances and gas furnaces. To support these features, Omega Flex, Inc. supplied its flexible gas piping system along with custom-built manifolds that were prefabricated and shipped directly to the jobsite.
The prefabricated system significantly reduced installation time, allowing crews to complete the home’s gas piping in just two days while maintaining the high level of quality required for a project of this complexity.
The result is a faster, more efficient installation that helps keep construction on schedule without compromising performance.

With the rough-in phase nearing completion, construction will soon move into another exciting stage.
Next, crews will begin:
