May is National Remodeling Month, and 2026 is bringing fresh energy, bold ideas and a few shiny new reasons to celebrate. Here are four ways to celebrate as a professional remodeler through the Builders’ Show, NAHB Membership, industry resources and more.
#1 Attend the NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS)
Step into the industry’s biggest playground for remodelers. IBS is where ideas spark, partnerships form and “what’s next” becomes “what’s now.” In 2026, remodeling pros can once again gather at Remodeling Central, a dedicated lounge designed for connection, collaboration and a little recharge between sessions.
Explore the latest trends, swap stories with fellow pros and dive into hands-on learning in the Craft Techniques Zone and Construction Performance Zone. From live demos to cutting-edge product reveals, the show floor is essentially a living blueprint of the future.

#2 Tour The New American Remodel 2027 During IBS
The New American Remodel® (TNAR), one of two official show homes of the Builders’ Show, will be reimagined by Primaris Custom Homes and Virtue Modern in the beautiful MacDonald Highlands in Henderson, NV. The original build of this home took place in 2003 with a heavy influence of “The Tuscan Style.” The remodel will showcase modern, beautiful finishes while prioritizing comfort and family living.
A reimagined kitchen and informal living space will anchor the home, paired with an updated backyard designed to be an entertainment space. This 7,774 square-foot remodel is designed to inspire with its modern finishes and a layout that truly supports everyday comfort. The kitchen and informal living area will serve as the heart of the home, intentionally crafted to bring people together for conversation and connection.
TNAR opens for tours only for IBS attendees during the Builders’ Show. Stay tuned for progress on the home.
