Phase 4 is almost complete on The New American Home^® 2025 (TNAH), the official show home of the NAHB International Builders’ Show^® (IBS). The home is on track to be finished and ready for tours during the Builders’ Show! Located in the foothills of the Ascaya subdivision of Henderson, NV, the award-winning and experienced design-build firm Sun West Custom Homes is the designer and builder of the home.

Phase 4: It’s All About the Finishes

Phase 4 is all about adding the finishes to the home. 80 – 100 people are in the home daily laying tile, finishing the fireplace and adding the Schluter System inside and out. The cabinets are almost complete, and the countertops are going in the kitchen. About 800 people-hours go into working on the house each day.

“There are always last-minute changes or things that we want to add, which creates to the stress level of such a high-profile house. But we are always able to pull it off. We have this pretty amazing floating stair system giving you the illusion of they’re floating. It’s a pretty big wow factor for a three-level staircase,” shares Stephanie Osborne, Interior Designer.

The multimillion-dollar home with see-through floors, floating stairs, cool tile and gold-finish fixtures will be open for tours during the Builder’s Show February 25 – 27.
