Get to Know Paul
We caught up with Paul to get a sneak peek into his session at the Builders’ Show and get to know him better.
What information or actionable takeaways can attendees expect to walk away with from your session?
Learn how to separate yourself from the competition by establishing your business in a niche market. Learn how to systematically improve your business for maximum growth potential with a sustainable business without you constantly at the helm.
What are you most looking forward to at IBS?
The sharing of new products and ideas is always the high point of IBS where you can see the latest trends in everything relating to your business and industry.
What advice would you give someone attending the Builders’ Show for the first time?
Take in as much as you can and try to visit all the vendors before spending too much time with specific ones. There’s a lot to see and take in, so don’t miss any of it.
Where is the best place to be at IBS? Why?
The show floor! It’s the heartbeat of IBS where everything is at your fingertips to learn and explore.
What is the most interesting 2024 industry trend?
Creative ways to finance new homes in light of the current high interest rates.
The industry has changed so much in the last five years. What changes do you think we’ll see in the next five years?
Smaller homes may be the norm given the rise in costs and interest rates. Multigenerational and Universally Design products will have a leg up on standard, run of the mill home offerings.
What do you think is the biggest challenge in the industry right now?
Finding ways for buyers to afford a home given the interest rates.
Paul’s session, Set Yourself Apart from the Competition: Find Your Niche, Systemize & Grow, is a Building Knowledge Session at the Builders’ Show. It’s happening Feb 27, 4 -5 PM.
