In the minds of your potential buyers, too often home builders are a commodity and indistinguishable. Home builders recognize the need to differentiate themselves and their brand from the competition, yet few have the skill set and training required to accomplish such an important initiative. But consumers are only half of the builder’s branding problem; every member of the internal team wants to know what makes the company different, why they should work for the company, and most importantly, what’s in it for them.
In this NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS) Master Workshop “Builder Branding: A 10-Step Process to Gain Competitive Advantage & Create Employee Loyalty,” you uncover the key ingredients to set your brand apart from the competition.
Led by Dave Miles, 2016 Legend of Residential Marketing Award President and Brand Strategist, this workshop will focus on both internal and external branding, and give you hands-on activities that will guide you through each part of the 10-step process.
In this three-hour advanced session, you will:
- Apply a 10-step branding process to identify your company’s DNA—the defining element that sets your company apart.
- Learn how to identify and leverage your company’s purpose, vision and values to create a stronger culture.
- Define the key benefits your company offers that are most important to your customers and employees.
- Learn how to effectively translate your brand into the digital age.
While this workshop is intended for builders, the fundamental concepts and 10-step branding method apply to any type of business.
