She has also led website design projects that focus on user experience and
online lead conversion. Liz will be speaking at IBS 2017; we caught up with her
earlier this month to ask her a few questions.
NAHB: What is
the one thing you are looking forward to the most while attending IBS?
LIZ: I love
the education sessions and just the high energy of the event as a whole. It’s
exciting to think about all the people coming from different places—all wanting
to improve their businesses and learn more about the building industry.
NAHB: Can you
tell us, what is your favorite blog and/or podcast?
LIZ: I’m a big
fan of the Hubspot blog because it is always
full of great ideas, and when I’m driving, I like to listen to Stuff You Should Know—The Podcast.
It is “edu-tainment” at its best.
would be your favorite weekend getaway?
LIZ: There’s a
lovely little island south of Sarasota called Boca Grande. When you cross the
bridge to get there, it is like taking a step back in time. You can really
unwind and relax there.
in Sarasota. What’s one must see/do place you’d recommend to out-of-town
is truly a wonderful place to live. My top “must-see” for visitors is our award-winning
Siesta Key Beach … and it’s only two hours away from Orlando, in case anyone
from the Builders’ Show wants to extent their trip with a beach vacation!
NAHB: Do you
have a favorite quote?

industry trends are you most excited about?
really excited about the advances in mapping out the Homebuyer Customer Journey
and also the ability to truly measure marketing efforts. Both allow us to better
serve our customers and meet sales goals in a more efficient and smarter way.
NAHB: What TV
show do you consider binge-worthy?
The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt! It is
a comedy, but I seriously love Kimmy’s outlook on life; she’s persistent, and
doing the right thing is always a good way to go.
your prediction of the building industry in 2017?
Liz will be presenting two sessions at IBS: “Analytics
for Builders: How to Prove Results from Your Digital Marketing Campaigns”
on Tuesday, January 10 and “Delivering
Your Digital Brand: Brand Marketing Consistently Through the Path to Purchase”
on Wednesday, January 11.
