5 Ways to Get Around Vegas & the Builders’ Show

4 Ways to Get Around Vegas & the Builders’ Show

UPDATED February 20, 2025

The Builders’ Show is next week, so it’s time to start plotting and planning your ways to get to and from the show and around Las Vegas. With construction going on at the Las Vegas Convention Center, parking is pretty much non-existent so check out your five main transportation options.

#1 Shuttle Services

For attendees seeking hassle-free transportation, shuttle services offer a convenient solution. Rideshares can get expensive, so we highly recommend utilizing your access to various shuttles available during the show.

Hotel to LVCC Official Show Shuttles

Complimentary shuttle buses operate between official IBS and NKBA Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) hotels and the LVCC, Feb 25 – 27, except for properties that are within walking distance of the LVCC. Shuttles will drop off and pick up at West, South and Central Halls. The Central Hall pick up and drop off is in Silver Lot 1.

Tesla Loop

Vegas Loop

Experience the future of transportation with the LVCC’s free on-campus Vegas Loop, which swiftly transports passengers throughout the campus in electric Tesla vehicles. Turn a 25-ish minute walk between halls into a 2-minute ride underground.

Special Event Shuttles

Complimentary shuttle service is provided from all official hotels directly to the Westgate for the 2025 DCW Opening Ceremonies and after the IBS Closing Concert from the Westgate to official hotels, except for properties within walking distance of the LVCC.

Las Vegas Monorail

#2 Monorail

For a unique transportation experience within the city, jump on and off the Las Vegas Monorail. Offering discounted passes to IBS attendees, the Monorail connects the LVCC to various hotels along the Strip, providing a fast and efficient mode of travel.

There’s no need for extra tickets or day passes between the Show and seven Monorail stations. Once you’ve purchased a monorail pass, it links to your IBS badge. Just scan your IBS badge at any monorail station and enjoy the ride!

#3 Taxi Services

If you prefer taxiing around town, here’s what you need to know.

Airport Taxis

At Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), you can find taxis at designated spots in Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.

Convention Center Taxis

Taxis at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) are available curbside at the designated taxi stands in front of the West, South and Central Halls. The taxi stand for the Central Hall is next to the Vegas Loop station, across from the IBS Outdoor Exhibits.

Hotel Taxis

Taxis are also available at IBS Official Show Hotels for added convenience.

#4 Ride Sharing

Uber and Lyft provide convenient ridesharing options.

Airport

Ensure smooth airport pickups by selecting the appropriate pickup locations at Harry Reid International Airport (LAS).

Ride Shares

Designated areas around the LVCC facilitate seamless Uber or Lyft pickups and drop-offs. Uber/Lyft pick-up and drop-off are available in designated areas at the LVCC: Behind the Central Hall in the Blue Lot, at the South Hall in front of the Bronze Lot and at the West Hall between the LVCC and Diamond Lot.

#5 Driving & Parking

Parking is extremely limited at the LVCC this year due to construction. Parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in Bronze Lot 1 at the South Hall and Diamond Lot 2 at the West Hall only. Please plan to use the other modes of transportation listed as much as possible when traveling to and from the LVCC.

Whether you prefer the convenience of taxis, the camaraderie of shuttle services, the speed of the Monorail or the innovation of the Vegas Loop, there’s a transportation option to suit everyone at IBS in Las Vegas. By leveraging these tips and services, easily navigate the city for a productive and enjoyable Builders’ Show experience.
