Getting Around Orlando & Navigating IBS 2026

The Orange County Convention Center

The NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS) 2026 is headed back to Orlando for one final Florida encore before the show’s permanent move to Las Vegas. And with IBS once again co-locating with the NKBA Kitchen & Bath Industry Show® (KBIS) for Design & Construction Week® (DCW), it’s going to be amazing.

With 2,300+ combined exhibitors covering over 1.15 million net square feet inside and outside the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC), having a game plan for getting around Orlando and navigating the show floor is essential. Think of this guide as your show-day compass.

First Things First: Understanding the OCCC

The Orange County Convention Center is massive and spread across multiple halls and concourses. IBS and KBIS events take place throughout the West, North and South Halls, so expect some walking and plan your schedule accordingly.

Your IBS registration badge gives you access to:

  • All IBS exhibits and education*.
  • All KBIS exhibit halls.
  • Shared DCW events and features.

Getting to & From IBS 2026

When it comes to getting to and from the show each day, you have options.

Hotel-to-Convention Center Shuttles

Complimentary shuttle service is provided all three show days from Official IBS hotels that are not within walking distance of the OCCC.

  • Shuttles begin running at 6:30 AM each morning.
  • Drop-off and pick-up locations are curbside at the West, North and South Halls.
  • Shuttle schedules will be available closer to show time.

If your hotel is close enough to walk, do it. Walking is often faster, easier and the recommended option.

Taxis & Rideshare

Prefer a door-to-door ride?

  • Taxi stands are located curbside at the West in front of the Hall E/F entrance and one in front of the Hall A/B entrance, North and South Halls, plus the back of the West Concourse at the Westwood Lobby.
  • Uber and Lyft have designated drop-off and pick-up zones right outside the North and South Halls.

Driving note: Parking at the OCCC is extremely limited, so if you’re driving, arrive early.

Badge Pickup & Show Basics

If you didn’t already receive your badge, no worries.

  • Badge pickup is available at designated IBS Registration areas in the West, North and South Halls.
  • Lanyards can be picked up at registration or at lanyard distribution walls throughout the convention center.
