Unveiling the Enhanced Attendee Experience at IBS 2024

Entrance to the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center

The NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS) is universally recognized as a cornerstone event for the residential construction industry. Every year, it attracts professionals from around the globe to explore, learn, network and witness the future of the industry.

We’re always striving to refine and improve the experience for our attendees. In keeping with this mission, we’re excited to share some changes and improvements for the upcoming IBS 2024.

Return to Design & Construction Week

We’re thrilled to announce that IBS is going back to its roots with Design & Construction Week, featuring IBS and NKBA’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show. It’s going to be much easier for attendees to navigate the two original shows rather than the five shows in 2023.

The 2024 Design & Construction Week brings together two power-packed shows under one roof, providing an unrivaled, comprehensive experience for everyone. By re-integrating this format, attendees can effortlessly move between shows, gain exposure to a broader range of vendors and products and maximize their time and learning opportunities.

Upgrades to the IBS Education Experience

One of our primary goals at IBS is to offer unparalleled opportunities for industry education and professional growth. However, we understand that overcrowding hindered the educational experience for some of our IBS 2023 attendees. To address this, we’re rolling out significant improvements to the IBS Education programming.

First, we’re introducing encore sessions for some of the most popular sessions. These repeat sessions will ensure that everyone interested in a specific topic gets a fair opportunity to attend. No more missing out due to overcrowding or conflicting schedules.

Second, we’re expanding the number of education session time slots. More sessions spread throughout the day will provide increased flexibility for attendees to plan their schedules, allowing for a more relaxed and productive educational experience.

Segmentation on the Show Floor

We’re introducing segmentation on the show floor, a new layout strategy designed to enhance your IBS experience. Segmentation aims to group similar exhibitors together, making it easier for attendees to find complementary products and services.

This reorganized floor layout offers multiple benefits. Attendees will be able to navigate the show floor more efficiently, save time and find the products and services they’re looking for at the show. Furthermore, it enables focused networking as attendees can more easily connect with other professionals interested in the same sectors or products.

The changes we’re making for IBS 2024 are all about you, our valued attendees. By going back to the Design & Construction Week format, revamping the IBS Education experience and introducing segmentation on the show floor, we believe we’re setting the stage for our most successful, enjoyable and impactful event yet.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Vegas, Feb 27-29. We can’t wait for you to experience these enhancements firsthand. Mark your calendar for Sept 1 to register for what promises to be an extraordinary journey of innovation and learning in the world of residential construction.
