The NAHB Young Professionals Committee has opened the application and nomination process for five awards given annually to outstanding NAHB members under the age of 45 who have demonstrated rapid career advancement, engagement with industry peers and advocacy for the building community early in their careers.
The finalists and winners represent the future of the home building industry and will guide the profession and the NAHB in the decades ahead. By developing and recognizing future leaders, NAHB is laying the foundation for the industry to continue to innovate, grow and inspire future generations of home builders.
Any active NAHB member in good standing born after December 31, 1973, is eligible to be nominated or apply for a Young Professionals Award. Nominees will be judged on career progression, industry involvement, leadership development and innovation. Finalists may also be judged on volunteer efforts and outreach in their communities.
Above all, Young Professionals Award recipients are NAHB members who will move the home building industry forward. Meet the winners of the 2017 Young Professionals Award.
Award applications and nominations will be accepted entirely online in 2018. To apply for an award or nominate someone else, please visit awards.nahb.com and log in with an NAHB member account.
The deadline for award applications and nominations is September 30.
Five winners will be chosen, one from each of the NAHB national regions (A-E). Awards will be presented at the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas in February 2019.
