I know I have a tremendous amount to learn about the industry, the innovation and problem solving happening, the unique needs and challenges facing NAHB members. I know I run the risk of information overload, but I am looking forward to challenging myself and my current understanding by diving into IBS headfirst!”

Austin Katje

Austin Katje | Homebuilders Association of the Sioux Empire

Alex Milton

Alex Milton | BIAW

Alex Milton is vice president of A.S.K. Properties. “I’d like to dive into the policy making behind restrictions being placed on developers. It seems the government overreach has handcuffed many folks in the industry and deters builders from the ability to build affordably.”

Jess Overcash

Janna Pettgrew is the design center manager for ICI Homes. “Since we have been building more model homes in the past couple years than I could ever remember, I am looking for new products or even new cutting-edge installation methods. Sometimes the best designs are to take an older product and show case it in a new way. I am also really looking forward to attending classes in addition to the trade floor.”

Kat Kabat

Kat Kabat | HBA of Durham, Orange & Chatham Counties

Kat Kabat is the director of construction operations for Hope Renovations. “I’m mostly looking forward to expanding my knowledge of the industry and what’s out there while connecting with folks.
