This course gives building industry professionals tools to help them examine different financial pieces of their business. Learn how to improve productivity and increase profits by understanding the ins and outs of annual operating plans and budgets, financial reports, forecasting, and more.
Estimating and Scheduling for Profitable Business Operations | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Because the ability to prepare for a project is vital to its overall success, this course illustrates how to estimate and schedule work together to set up a project effectively. Gain greater efficiencies and protect profitability by learning the fundamentals of these two critical processes.
Land Development: Getting Started, Business Management & Financing | 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Get an introduction to land acquisition and development, and explore the first five of this eight-step process of becoming a successful developer. Learn strategies for finding land development opportunities for small projects, discuss business structures and more as you gain a balanced perspective on what it takes to develop land.
