The Advanced High Performance Building: Project Management course is designed to boost production efficiency and customer satisfaction by teaching you how to integrate high performance practices and certifications, such as Nation Green Building Standard and LEED, into a streamlined project management process.

Combining Project Management Institute concepts with the whole-house approach to building, this one-day course identifies important systems, documents and communication strategies. Graduates will be able to:

  • Describe how project management processes apply to green builders, remodelers and developers.
  • Integrate certification of the ICC/ASHRAE 700-2015 National Green Building Standard™ into project management processes.
  • Increase operational efficiency and improve the bottom line through the use of green project management.
  • Identify ways to decrease the potential liabilities associated with green building.

The Advanced High Performance Building: Project Management Course provides six hours of continuing education credits for these NAHB designations: CAPS, CGA, CGB, CGP, CGR, CMP, CSP, GMB, GMR, Master CGP, Master CSP and MIRM. It also counts for 6.00 LU/HSW hours for AIA/CES.

This course will be offered the weekend before IBS 2020—as part of the pre-show course offerings. Registration for these pre-show courses, along with many others, opens on August 1, 2019.
