NAHB Seeks Speakers for 2016 IBS Education Programs

Each year, NAHB selects nearly 300 speakers to present education sessions at the International Builders’ Show® (IBS) on topics ranging from sales and marketing to design to remodeling. Speaker selection begins with the annual request for education proposals (RFP) and anyone interested in presenting can submit session topic ideas for consideration.

The RFP is now open! Interested speakers have until April 17 to submit their proposals.

What we’re looking for:

Attendees have given our education strong reviews over the last few years, but continue to tell us theystill need more new and advanced content. So we are looking for education
session ideas that are original and full of innovative, cutting-edge content
geared primarily to an audience with 10+ years in the building industry.

Submit a proposal:

Visit nahb.org/speakatIBS to access the
official RFP document which includes leading attendee topics of interest,
attendee demographics, rules and guidelines for speaking and additional
information for submitting a proposal. Please
note, there’s been a significant change in the RFP process this year – the $50 application fee for submitting a proposal has been eliminated
– and we hope it will encourage even more industry experts to share their ideas
and proposals.

IBS 2016 will be held January 19-21 in Las Vegas. For more information about
IBS, including a list of education sessions presented in 2015, visit BuildersShow.com. If you have any questions or would like to recommend a
