Two phenomenal tradeshows. One iconic location.

Discover It All at the First Annual Design & Construction Week™

Building professionals will want to make plans now to attend the 2014 NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS). In addition to the valuable education and fun-filled events you’ve come to expect at IBS, this year attendees will have access to the exhibit floors of two of the biggest tradeshows for design and construction professionals!

That’s right! The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) have agreed to co-locate two extraordinary events, the IBS and the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This first annual Design & Construction Week™ will take place February 4-6, 2014.

So what’s new about the Builders’ Show? Here are the top three reasons for making this year the year to attend IBS.

  1. Two Show Floors. One Badge. In the past, many folks have had to make the difficult choice between attending IBS or KBIS. This was particularly hard during the economic downturn. It just wasn’t possible to spend the money to attend both shows in one year. By co-locating the two events, you can see and talk with exhibitors from every aspect of the industry during the same week, all for one low price. Plus, you’ll cut down on the cost of hotel and travel and you’ll only be away from your business for a few days.

Your IBS show badge will give you access to both show floors.   While the two events will remain separate and distinct, attendees are given the opportunity to see and connect with every aspect of residential construction and remodeling. And, if you’ve never been to KBIS, it’s something to see – the latest products in the kitchen and bath markets.

  2. Networking with Peers. Design & Construction Week is expected to draw more than 75,000 builders, remodelers, developers, architects and other industry professionals from over 100 countries. This is one of the best opportunities to meet and talk with others in the industry from across the globe. It will be the one place the entire building industry comes together in North America next year.
  3. 1,400+ Exhibitors with Innovative Products. Between IBS and KBIS, the anticipated number of exhibiting companies is expected to top 1,400. Companies that chose to scale back their show presence during the economic downturn are increasing their exhibit space, and IBS has already welcomed more than 60 companies back to the show. This means you’ll see hundreds of new and improved products, and also have access to company representatives to ask questions and help you solve problems. There is nothing like meeting with someone face to face or being able to see and touch the latest refrigerator on the market.

Design & Construction Week 2014 will be nothing short of extraordinary and valuable for everyone who attends. Registration for the event opens on September 3. Mark your calendar and plan to attend IBS 2014 and experience the first-ever Design & Construction Week.
